Pyramid Drop
Privacy Policy
Effective date: 30 September 2026 · Game version 1.7
Pyramid Drop is developed by Pendragon Technologies (H.M.Pendragon), United Kingdom. This policy explains how the game handles information. Contact h.m.pendragon@gmail.com for privacy questions or requests.
Game progress on your device
The game stores your coin balance, purchased and equipped cosmetics, discovered monsters, monster experience and levels, best score, highest world reached, daily challenge status, settings and saved chamber on your device. These records operate the game and personalise its scenery and monsters. Monster experience and chamber contents are not sent to our Firebase score database.
Progress and coin balances are not synchronised between devices. Uninstalling the app removes local progress. Coins already delivered to the local wallet cannot be recovered by the current app after losing the installation.
Optional global leaderboard
If you choose to join, Firebase Authentication creates an anonymous identity. Cloud Firestore stores a generated Explorer name, your best score, a server update time and a record version under that identity. Signed-in participants can view leaderboard entries. No email address or real name is required to play or join.
The score database is hosted in London. Firebase processes network and service information needed to authenticate connections and operate the service. The release build also includes Firebase App Check with Play Integrity for app/device authenticity checks when configured by the publisher. Google services may process information outside your country; see Google’s privacy policy.
Removing a leaderboard entry
While connected, use Settings → Remove my leaderboard entry to delete your public score and sign out. Participation is disabled after deletion succeeds. This action does not delete the anonymous Firebase Authentication record. Uninstalling does not remove a published score and loses the local identity needed to remove it yourself.
For help removing a score or associated identity, email h.m.pendragon@gmail.com with your Explorer name. Do not include passwords or payment details. We may ask for enough information to identify the correct record and verify the request. Published entries remain until removed in-app or following a verified request; no automatic expiry is currently implemented.
Advertising and rewarded coins
Pyramid Drop uses Google AdMob for menu banners, occasional full-screen ads outside active gameplay, and optional rewarded ads. Completing a rewarded ad grants 50 coins. The app stores a completion receipt locally with the balance to prevent duplicate rewards, plus run counters and timestamps to limit interruptions.
Depending on consent and service settings, Google’s advertising services may process your device’s IP address (which can indicate approximate location), advertising and other device identifiers, ad/app interactions and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. This is separate from our Firebase score database. We do not supply monster experience or chamber contents as advertising targeting parameters. See Google’s privacy policy and the Mobile Ads SDK data disclosure.
Advertising privacy and audience
The game is intended for teens and adults aged 13 and over. It does not ask for or store an age range or date of birth. Earlier age preferences are removed when upgrading. All ad requests use restricted under-age-of-consent treatment and a PG content limit, applied uniformly to all players.
Google’s User Messaging Platform manages applicable consent messages and stores choices. Where required, consent choices are requested before ads can load. Use Settings → Advertising privacy, or Ad privacy choices when available, to review the settings and Google’s available consent options. Ad availability depends on consent and applicable service settings.
Optional purchases
When purchases are available through Google Play, Google processes payment under its terms and privacy policy. Products include consumable coin packs and a permanent Remove ads upgrade. The game receives product information, purchase tokens and purchase status to validate purchases, deliver benefits and prevent duplicate credits. Purchase records are stored on your device. We do not receive payment card details. Remove ads disables banners and automatic full-screen ads; optional reward videos remain available for 50 coins. Restore Remove ads through the shop using the same Google Play account. Consumable coins remain in the local wallet and are not a cloud-backed balance.
Internet connection
An active internet connection is required for gameplay, including after buying Remove ads. The app checks Android’s network-validation status. If access is lost, the chamber pauses and progress is saved locally. The app does not scan for installed ad blockers or treat an individual ad-loading failure as proof of blocking.
Permissions and information sharing
The app uses network access for ads, consent, the optional leaderboard and purchases; vibration for optional feedback; and Google Play Billing for purchases. The Mobile Ads SDK includes the advertising ID permission. The game does not request contacts, camera, microphone or location access.
Only the optional leaderboard sends your best score to our Firebase backend. Coins, purchase tokens and chamber contents are not sent to that backend. Google’s advertising, payment and distribution services process the information required for their respective services, as described above.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can play without joining the leaderboard, manage advertising preferences in Settings, remove your score as described above, and remove local records by clearing app data or uninstalling. Clearing data or uninstalling also removes your saved game and coin balance.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion of personal information, object to certain processing, restrict its use, or withdraw consent. Email h.m.pendragon@gmail.com with your request. You can also contact your local data protection authority; in the UK, this is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
